Hey guys! So I asked a person on Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/evanlipton/ <- This guy to be exact, he's part of the Massachusetts YBC and made their logo) to see if he'd make us a logo and he agreed! Now the hard part is the design we all agree on. If you guys remember from a couple of Audubon meetings ago, I showed a sketch of my idea- a Prothonotary with NC/SC in the background and 'Carolina Young Birder's Club' circling it. Matt and Evan seemed okay with it if I recalled, but I want to make sure!

If anybody else has other ideas for logos, please tell them! I don't want to hassle Evan (no, not you, Evan!).

Oh Matt, you mentioned you made some buisness cards! Could I get some? At my WBU we have a little section we can put brochures and buisness cards, and it'd also be super handy to have some to give out at events and stuff. With the new logo it'd be really nice.

Like the transparency.  Yep we have cards I can give you some.  Unfortunatley i am going to use up the ones we have- we have 250 ones that don't have the new logo, but once those are gone we will get new ones.  Basically the old ones have a Canada Warbler on them with some of the website information, etc.  Thanks so much for spreading the word though!

Will you be at Jackson Park or Fall Migration Celebration? THanks

Oh, alright, then yeah, I'll be going to the Six-mile walk. My WBU isn't far from the other entrance to Four-mile (I can't remember the name of the road). Only about two miles, I'm thinking of maybe doing leading a walk too sometime.

The hawk watch was great, I met the president of the CBC (I forget her name, as with everybody) and she was super nice. Really hope I can do that trip in January, I'm saving up for it.

Just checking, ther three closest hotspots to my work are Four-mile Creek (entrance by Rea Road), James Boyce Park, and McAlpine. I think we need more walks!

Yup, I will, my dad will be dropping me off at the WBC at 8, if that's okay.

I thought the pelagic was already included? What do you mean by that?

Martina, please bring your spare binocs.  We will be stretched thin.

The young birder field trip is separate from pelagic to be precise.
