About Me

I'm John Voigt, and I bird mainly in Coastal Carolina. Professionally I've worked with endangered Red-cockaded Woodpeckers and done year long bird surveys for both Camp LeJeune and Cherry Point. Doing Marsh bird surveys by boat with John Fussell for Black Rails was a highlight of my work for the local military bases!
